I know a lot of people who are scared to try things because they might fail or be rejected. I used to be this way, but sometimes we have to step out of our comfort zones and face our fears. The worst that can happen is someone can say no or you could actually fail and have a chance to redeem yourself. If you really look at the things you failed at in life, I'm sure you won't be able to come up with something that you failed at and weren't able to have a second, third, fourth, or fifth try at. If you fail a test, there may not be a make up, but you do have other ways you can redeem yourself at. If you faith your driving test, you can take it again. If you get rejected from a school, you can always reapply...and the list goes on.
Some people just give up hope once they fail and just decide that when something new comes their way that they won't try it at all. There's nothing like not trying because you never know what could or couldn't be. One thing that I would suggest is to take the word never out of your vocabulary and once you do that, you must realize that you can do anything you put your mind too.
So you should stop and ask yourself, what's worst, failing...or never trying? You should already know what my answer is.
