Carry Me Canvas!

It's been a while since we've thrown something in the bag here at elleELLEeye, but today we have an item you ladies will love. With my birthday coming up I've made my list of possible thing I'd like to treat myself to, and this canvas backpack from Urban Outfitters has definitely made the list. Since I'm a huge fan of messenger bags and bags that all my hands and arms to be free, I adore this Ecote Canvas Rucksack! It's equipped with generous lined main compartment with internal organizer pockets and a drawstring closure; buckle flap with built-in pocket; pouch pockets with snap flaps at the front and side. It also includes Velcro pocket at the front; reinforced base and sturdy adjustable padded shoulder straps. For $68, I definitely think it's worth it. This bag can be mixed and matched with your spring and fall fashion looks!

Guys, if you're into backpacks with a fashionable twist, don't worry, Urban Outfitters caters to males very well. Check out this Canvas Rucksack that is military-inspired with a spacious main compartment and drawstring plus buckle closure. I think I love this one more than the women's variation and it's only $38! You can't beat that! That's it for my Throw it in the Bag items of the week!

Giveaway: Hana Professional Flat Iron

Looking for a flat iron that's just right for your type of hair? Well, you can always go with a regular ceramic flat iron, but you may be interested in the Hana. According to DC Beauty,
The Hana has five temperature settings suitable for fine, medium or coarse hair. The highest temperature is hot enough to straighten curls while the lowest is great for reducing frizz or creating bounce. I must warn you however that the highest temperature, 450 degrees, is very hot and should be used with caution as fine hair can be damaged easily.
How much does one cost? Not for you to worry about, because you can win one! How? Just follow these simple steps:

1. Follow Misikko on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/misikko
2. Blog about this giveaway on your own personal site ie. Facebook, Blogger etc.
3. Post a comment including your name, email, and the link to your personal site containing the blog.

The winner will be announced on May 3rd, so stay tuned and have your fingers crossed! Shoutout to DC Beauty for the scoop!

You Light Up the Room

Walking down the streets of Manhattan, you see some pretty interesting things...especially when it comes to fashion! Nice sunglasses, purses to die for and some pretty unique dresses - but one thing that you would NEVER think to see is heels that light up! Shocked?! Maybe at first but not after you find out that these sexy skyscraper shoes come from Jimmy Choo!

These 5.1'' heels, appropriately named Zap are coming soon in Jimmy Choo's Spring/Summer 2010 collection. They're complete with battery compartment and on/off switch so if for some reason you don't wanna be something like a walking Times Square, you can end the light show.
Oh, and by the was these shoes will be retailing for $2,495. Personally I think these shoes are smokin' hot, but is it worth it?

You tell me (in a comment)!

While watching America's Next Top Model, a Covergirl commercial caught my eye with this product: the new smokyshadowblast. The two different, specially contoured ends of our ShadowBlast stick make it easy to create a bold, colorful, smoky eye. A duo of expertly paired shades provide the bold, spotlight-ready looks loved by today's hottest makeup artists.

Headphones Poppin' Like...KOTORI

When getting dressed I'm sure you never think about your headphones as an accessory, but in all actuality they are. Although my headphones are black, I've had all colors from purple to green to pink. I hate paying money for headphones and although I would love a pair of Beats they're a bit pricey.

Meet KOTORI! They have over 100 variations of colors, but if youre not satisfied with those, you can easily design your own by selecting the color of each of the 10 components, or just hit shuffle and see what happens randomly.

Do you like these headphones? Beware: the Kotori site is in a foreign language, so good luck buying them =)

WiSH LIST: iPad

Just when you thought Apple was trying to make iPods smaller and smaller, the iPad came along. Apple unveiled its new tablet-style iPad and plans on selling it starting at $499. The iPad resembles an iPhone, but larger. Apple will sell some iPad models with data plans from AT&T, with no contract required. Apple Inc. will have to convince consumers, many of whom already have Internet-connected phones, computers and TVs, that they’ll want to pay that much for such a device, when many small, lightweight “netbooks” cost less than $400.

CEO Steve Jobs says the iPad will be better for reading books, playing games and watching video than either a laptop or a smart phone. The initial price is likely to drop. Apple sold the first iPhone for $599 but slashed the price to $399 after a few months, upsetting early buyers.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE iPad?

DJ Hero

Fikee Fikee "Hi my name is...H to the Izzo V to the izz A." You may call that gibberish, but I call it watching too much television. If you haven't seen the commercial for one of the newest game systems, you must not know about DJ Hero. What's that you ask? It's none other than the DJ version of the infamous game Guitar Hero, but in my opinion it's so much cooler!

If I could get my hands on a bag big enough, this would definitely throw in it! DJ Hero would also be a great Christmas gift ::AHEM:: for a loved one. It'll set you back $100 - $200 depending on your gaming system. Check out the commercial, happy watching/shopping!

rain DOWN ON ME...

On a rainy day it's kind of hard to get up and motivated, well I have found a pair of rainboots that might brighten up your day (literally). Today my "Throw it in the Bag" item are Coach's "pixy rainboot". The boots have a crazy zebra graphic design and are colorful to say the least. I love the clear rubber sole as well. They cost $180 buckeroos and are kind of affordable, but we're in a recession, so I'll throw it in the bag!
