eyeinspire: Sunday Morning

Good morning/afternoon. I didn't get to go to church today so I took some time out and had a long session with my bible and God. I'm still on Proverbs so I just picked up where I left off. It's funny how I was reading Proverbs 5:3 and looked at it as poetry.
Proverbs 5:3-7 reads (3)For the lips of an adulteress drip honey, and her speech
is smoother than oil (4) but in the end she is bitter as gall, sharp as a
double-edged sword. (5) Her feet go down to death; her steps lead straight to
the grave. (6) She gives no thought to the way of life; her paths are crooked,
but she knows it not. (7) Now then, my sons, listen to me; do not turn aside
from what I say.

This scripture is talking about adultery, more specifically how not to give in to the adulteress, as the rest of Proverbs emphasizes on wisdom. I just wanted to share what my Sunday morning consisted of before I started blogging. I hope I inspired you to spend some time with God today if you haven't already.

This is nice. It's cool that you incorporate God in your blogs. You don't see that ofter. Don't lose that.

this needs to be shared with someone i know! effin hoe ass homewreckin biatch! =\

  1. Simmer down. It's okay, don't you worry about the homewrecker. Sometimes people do whatever they can in order to get what they want, even if it means taking it from someone else. They may have the temporary satisfaction for now, but in the long run it will come back to them [sevefold, as God put it]. So just chill and know that the homewrecker will be punished and soon your home will be restored.

Good job Tiff and clearly you have great insight because the book of Proverbs along with Psalms, Job, Ecclesiastes and Songs of Solomon (Song of Songs) are considered the 5 Poetic Books of the Bible.

  1. Thanks tracer. I learned something new today =)
