Just Kickin' It

Here are my "new kick" picks for the week.

These blazers are the upgraded version of the 2007 denim Blazer. Two years later Nike has altered the simplistic silhouette and added some nifty bibs and bobs. Yellow stitching, metal eyelet studs and contrasting panels of your favourite shade of jean, Nike keep in the left lane on the fashionistic highway giving a massive nod to the ever-popular selvedge craze.

Ladies looking for luxury can rest their eyes on adidas’ new SLVR line. While the PR reps call it ‘affordable, attainable and ultimately wearable’ we like to simply say its Y-3 quality for those who cant pay Y-3 money. Aside from a serious focus on design most immediately noticeable is the new three horizontal bar branding, a clever play on the Adidas brand.

PUMA X Sergio Rossi (Womens) - A revisionist’s version of a classic, Italian footwear designer Sergio Rossi’s PUMA Clyde feature a stain upper flaunt in brightly colored hues. Also with the inclusion of high heels, though maybe a typo, appropriately named “Sneaker with Hell” and “High Hell Sneaker” . All are now available exclusively through Parisian boutique Colette. In addition, be on the lookout of a limited edition in the classic Colette blue.
