Take it from me when I say I know how times are when you're strapped for cash and in college. However, having money is more of a privilege than a right, I mean we have meal cards and almost everything is accessible to us for free on campus. But - we do need money for ahem...alcohol, parties, to occasionally eat off campus, the movies, etc. [especially when our textbook money or refund checks are on "E".
I was fortunate enough to have a good job on campus, but sometimes that's not always the case. I had friends that are always looking for job opportunities, so I thought since I graduated that I would try to lend a helping hand [because I sure don't have any money to lend out lol]. The only problem with these jobs is that not all colleges communities have these places near campus, but maybe you can work during the summer or as a seasonal worker. eyehope I helped.
