The Power of the Kiwi

When’s the last time you had a kiwi? I hardly eat it, but I found that the green-fleshed fruit is rich in many vitamins, flavanoids, and minerals. Studies have shown it can reduce the risk of developing an eye-related disease called ARMD (the primary cause of vision impairment in adults). It also helps to prevent diabetes, colon cancer, asthma, wheezing, coughing, and helps to control sugar levels.

Kiwi is also natural in China, where they are still called "macaque peach."
It actually got its name when it was brought to New Zealand where it was named after a native bird. The hairy brown fruit wasn't introduced to the western hemisphere until late in the 20th century as well.

Check this: You can even eat the skin! Careful of those pesticides though-they might make your gums itch.

Hmm…you know what’s next right? A RECIPE!
Here’s a dish I found online that I am going to try. Let me know if you do too!
