JUNK FOoD: Sometimes FAME Kills

"The album is what I would like them to talk about" how idealistic, and certainly preferable in the case, of Chris Brown as he spoke with Robin Roberts on Good Morning America recently. His objective was to promote his album F.A.M.E which hit stores on March 22nd; however, things sharply took a turn for the worst ending in Breezy trashing the dressing room and leaving the ABC studios shirtless. If you follow the old consideration, "Bad publicity is better than no publicity", you might chance putting a positive spin on this occurence. BUT if you're like the rest of us, you will agree that this did not help an already considerably fledgeling public opinion.

In theory, yes Chris Brown should've been able to concentrate on the good and his album release - but in reality, the chances of him dancing his way into people's hearts might never happen. This is show-business folks, and that's what the people want, a show.

As an ABC spokesperson put it, "As always, we asked questions that are relevant and newsworthy, and that's what we did in this interview with Mr. Brown." When its all said and done, the media has to do their job just as Chris has to do his. I wonder how he would rate that performance?

Basketball Wives, Season 2

I guess the "Basketball Wives" can say they're doing something now that they are gearing up for the second season of their reality show. In a world of "One hit wonders" and show cancellations, being able to withstand and satisfy the audience is paramount. We can only anticipate the gossip, the drama and the to come. The has some familiar faces; Shaunie O’Neal, Jennifer Williams, Royce Reed, Evelyn Lozada, Suzie Ketcham and Gloria Govan. They will be joined by new cast members Tami Roman (also of MTV's "Real World: Los Angeles Season 2"), Juli Richmond, Kimberli Russell, and Ashley Walker. T.I. & Tiny Arrested


TI and his wife Tiny were pulled over in Los Angeles on a routine traffic stop and the police smelled MARIJUANA in the car. After searching the car, police found an UNSPECIFIED OTHER DRUG in the car.

According to TMZ, TI and Tiny were both placed under ARREST, and as of this morning, were awaiting bail. MediaTakeOut.com can report that rapper TI has almost 3 YEARS LEFT on his probation. If he is found GUILTY of this offense (a violation), he could go to jail for 3 MORE YEARS! They have 5 CHILDREN and a successful entertainment career, It's just a SHAME!

Kanye Trying to Steal Selita From Maxwell

There may be some beef in the music world between rapper Kanye West and R&B singer Maxwell. Why? According to a source close to Maxwell, the R&B singer and model Selita Banks have been dating fairly seriously for almost six months. The insider explained, "They were trying to keep it out of the public because they wanted it to last...they really cared for each other."

Well that's where rapper Kanye West comes in. The insider explains, "Kanye and Selita were sneaking around behind Maxwell's back. This is crazy because they were all friends. For Ye to do that is beyond grimey." And the insider adds, "He'll get his though, Maxwell is no punk."

: Something must be in the air, love maybe? July 30, 2010 will be the wedding anniversary for not one, two, but three celebrity couples. NY, Italy, and Miami were the sites for the weddings of President Bill Clinton's only daughter Chelsea and fiancé Mark Mezvinsky, Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz, and long time couple, Tiny and T.I. A few people have their own opinion on the union of A.Keys and Swizzy, but save it for a comment. Congratulations to all of the couples and may the union be til death do them part! T.I. and longtime girlfriend Tiny are now man and wife. T.I., real name Clifford Harris, and Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, were married in a secret wedding ceremony on an island that was on the outskirts of Miami. Cottle is the mother of two of T.I.’s kids and been the rapper’s companion since 2001.

The wedding was positioned as a family trip to the media, but doubled as a wedding. Tiny wore a beautiful Valentino gown and the King of ATL, Tip was clad in Prada. Monica, Kandi Burress (ATL Housewife, and former member of Escape) and co-star of her reality show and ex-wife to Lil Wayne, Toya Carter served as Bridesmaids in the ceremony. Ashanti, Nelly, Kim Porter, Rasheeda, Angela Simmons, Bow Wow, Usher, Diamond and Scrappy were all seen at the nuptials! Everyone looked amazing! Congrats to the amazing, couple and much success on their strong union.

JuNK FOOD: Ryan's Amazon Woman

Does height matter? Beauty is more than in the eye of the beholder. My grandma used to always say, "There's somebody for everybody." And Nicole Trunfio, girlfriend to singer Ryan Leslie, can be for a lot of guys. Who wants to argue with that? If you do, I think my insurance plan can cover our trip to the optics so you can get checked out. Okay, stop drooling and admit it.

There have been a couple wise cracks about Nicole's height, but last time I checked, that didn't matter at all. Dudes often say that they want to date a model, well how tall are they expecting them to be? There are standards with that come along with this. Personally I love a female with some height on her. It's not a prerequisite or anything, so let's not discriminate...That's so 90s. Worst case scenario only hang out when she has on flats. From good music to beautiful women, I guess he knows like Bo. Food for thought, you do the dishes.

JuNK FOOD: The Minaj à Trois

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, well let's start counting all the things that little Kim could potentially say about this one. In the photo: Young Money's Nicki Minaj with D. Roc - former Junior Mafia manager - and the same dude that Lil' Kim did a year for in prision. In my opinion, Kim doing a year for not snitiching is what solidifies her claim to the thrown as the QUEEN. Eat your hearts out, and don't forget that I am FOX 5, Fox Boogie to the max. All in all, real recognizes real, and you can't argue with that.

When it all boils down, you have to ask - where's the loyalty? You can't knock the homey for getting his paper, especially when you have a chance to jump on a bandwagon like Nicki's (no pun intended). Seriously, how many people would turn that down? I know a few, but I guess he's not one. I don't know the dude personally, but what I do know is that this is kind of a slap in the face to Kim. Right now is pivotal, and sides must be chosen. Did he choose his? SAD.

I for one don't even co-sign the beef between Kim and Nicki, but I quote what Nicki said at the BET Awards, "I'm doing this for all women"; as she should. And like Remy said, "There can be more than one." - female rapper on top of her game that is. They don't always have to beef. So I'm riding with ending the BS, and letting them both get their shine, and rhyme on. As we all should.

Who is she? Only Rosa Acosta, where have you been? Obviously not on the 'net. So again, my question is - why him?

Not so much, according to a clip in the Hollywood Reporter, Chris Brown had to delay his tour in the UK because the country denied him access due to his criminal record. Now, I know the brother was wrong, but dang he can’t even come into the country?! I wonder who ELSE they did that to. Hmm...what do you think?

Should Chris Brown be allowed to have his tour in the UK despite his past afflictions with Rihanna?

JuNK FOOD: The Dish We Get Served

Welcome to all the gossip-addicts; not here to judge, I myself is included in this craze. I cannot put the mouse down - continuously scanning the net for the newest dish. I came across something today that had me baffled. It was about The Dream and his wife Christina Milian - headline, "The Dream and Christina Milian Over?????" So, me being the curious person that I am, clicked with the quickness only to be disappointed. This was the offering, (view photo to the left). Where does this come across as a marriage destroyed...looks to me like a hardworking man just having a good time. Or am I missing something?

With all of this in mind, I came to think of how factual most of the things that we read really are. Now I am not here to attack a whole industry, far be it for me to be hypocritical, but I am in search of the truth - and I need you guys to help me out. How much of the so-called dish we get served is true, or does it even matter? Are we so intrigued by the lives of others that we throw caution to the wind as soon as we see headlines? Are we addicted to

?

eyewonder. Example, yesterday the headline was Nene from Atlanta Housewives and her husband were on the verge of divorce after having been split for some time, and I couldn't wait to see why. FYI - I still don't know why, but I found myself hanging on to every word of the publication which served me this dish..smh..Someone help me!

Some time ago I was against twitter (DON'T KILL ME) 'cause I refused to be that interested to "follow" someone else. I have a hard enough time keeping up with my whereabouts most of the time, and indeed need calendars, post-its, all of the above to keep me focused (Come on now, you know you are the same way - admit it).

Again not here to badger, just wanted to share my thoughts and get some feedback.

The estranged wife of Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade filed a lawsuit today on behalf of their two sons against a Chicago attorney who she says failed to act in the best interest in their children during the couple’s divorce (via bossip.com).



Twitter "Beef" with Jojo Simmons & Bow Wow
Yesterday rapper Bow Wow and Angela's brother JoJo were going back and forth clowning each other over Twitter. Jojo had some pretty good tweets getting at Bow Wow, but Bow Wow decided to bring Angela (his ex-girlfriend and Jojo's sister) into the mix with this tweet: "im talking about ya sister was laying in bed with me and begged me to call u when ni**** dissed u on hot 97 #boohoo." Bow Wow deleted all of his messages regarding the situation, but too bad someone caught it before he did (via Mediatakeout.com).

Star of the hit TV show Bones, David Boreanaz, has confessed to cheating on his wife of 9 years, Jaime Bergman. One of his mistresses is one of Tiger Woods' jumpoff, Rachel Uchitel. But wait, something doesn't fit...According to the Associated Press, Jay-Z's business partners are suing Boston Red Sox player, David Ortiz. Why? Apparently, Ortiz has opened a club in the Santo Domingo by the name of Forty/Forty, in the hopes of using Jay's fame to get a crowd there.

Well Jay-Z & his people didn't like that idea too much, so Ortiz is being sued $5 million dollars for infringement.

Have you heard about the Last Girl On Earth Tour featuring Rihanna, Ke$ha, Nicki Minaj? If so, you can scratch Nicki off the list of performers. Nicki let her "Barbies" and "Kens" know by tweeting this yesterday:


Today, this information came out of the bag:

Allegedly Rihanna has been growing increasingly worried that her popularity is starting to fade. The insider explained, "No one [in Rihanna's camp] is panicking yet, but there is DEEP concern that Rihanna has peaked, and is on the downside of her music career."

Well when Rihanna learned that HOT AS FIRE new rapper Nicki Minaj was being included in her tour, she was FURIOUS!!! The insider explained to MediaTakeOut.com, "Nicki [Minaj] was brought in to sell tickets, but Rihanna did NOT want her on." So the insider claimed that Rihanna, presumably fearing that she would be upstaged, used her influence to REDUCE Nicki's role in the tour. Nicki was reportedly going to be the opening act, and be limited in the number of songs she could perform.

Well Nicki's people weren't HAVING IT!!! A person close to Young Money told MediaTakeOut.com, "Nicki is not an opening act, and we would never put her out there like that"

But that's not it. According to our Young Money insider, Nicki ended up calling Rihanna DIRECTLY to ask whether she was behind all of the tour drama. The insider told MediaTakeOut.com, "I only heard one side of the conversation, but [there] were a lot of curse words thrown back and forth."

Leakes' son, Bryson Brant, was pulled over in Georgia for unspecified reasons (most likely DWB) and upon running his license, the cops discovered some old tickets that turned into warrants. After further searching, the police discovered weed on Bryson. He was charged with two misdemeanors and spend three days in jail.
