Here's a post I did just for you: http://elleelleeye.blogspot.com/2010/01/eyeanswer-shopping-on-budget.html
If you want to have a personat style on a budget its actually really simple. Tiff's post is right on track but here's a few specific pieces to have that will make your outfits stand out and better define you...
1. Jewlery: Wearing a statement necklace, ring, or earrings with the simplest of outfits will pop. For example, when I dont feel like getting dressed I just throw in a v-neck and jeans and add some bold earrings and im good to go. Charlotterusse has an everyday sale where earrings and bracelets are 2 for $8
2. Play with your hair: Many dont realize how much a cool hairstyle makes your look pop. And you can always add a headband for some more power.
3. The Salvation Army always has some interesting things. Look for cool printed pants, blazers and sweaters, broaches, and purses.
this book looks as if it'll be really dope... i wish i could afford to get it to read it lol which brings me to my question... developing personal style is something that we are all after, however with college loan repayments beginning in about 3 weeks i have to develop a personal style on a budget...ew. is there anywhere to get all the fly things that are posted on elleelleeye and still have the money to make my monthly payments etc??? =)
