Academy Awards - Best Dressed

Another award show down, so you already know what that means! The stars walked the red carpet in gorgeous gowns and made us all drool with fashion envy. The best dressed awards (in my opinion) go to...

Kristen Stewart in Monique Lhuillier

I love the "tied down" draping of this dress and it compliments her body very well.

Jennifer Lopez in Armani Prive

J. Lo's dress is one of my favorites. Love the A-symmetry, the material, everything just works amazingly together.

Elizabeth Banks in Versace

This is a gorgeous spring color!! Its such a great couture look for the Academy Awards.

Carey Mulligan in Prada

I absolutely hate the hair with the dress bit I love the dress! Not everyone can pull this dress of and I think Carey's body wears it well.

Cameron Diaz in Oscar de la Renta (one of my favorite designers by the way!)

Cameron was Stunning!!! She had such an old Hollywood glam thing going on and it worked great! The dress is to die for!

Vera Farmiga in Marchesa

The dress + The hair + the make-up = winning combination!

Rachel McAdams in Elie Saab

The bodice of this dress is amazing constructed... It was tailored to fit her perfectly. Not to mention the amazing choice of fabric. Very good choice for spring and ladylike.

Miley Cyrus in Jenny Packham

I adore Miley's dress... She didn't look her age (as usual) but she didn't look like she was trying to be an adult either so it works!!! Love it!

Meryl Streep in Chris March

Meryl was looking great as usual! White is definitely her color!

Maggie Gyllenhaal in Dries Van Noten

LOVE this gown.... Maggie risked it with this choice (its a bit playful for the Oscars) but she hit it on the head!

Agree? Disagree? Let us know!

The Academy Award Goes to...

If you had any doubts about why March is Women's History Month, you must have missed the Oscars last night. Katherine Bigelow became the first female director to win Best Picture (the biggest award) for "The Hurt Locker", Mo'nique took home the award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in "Precious" based on the novel Push by Sapphire, while my best friend (in my head) Sandra Bullock (who looked uh-maze-ing) won her first Oscar for her film "The Blind Side" as Actress in a Leading Role beating out rookie of the year Gabourey Sibide. Congratulations to all of winners of the night. I hope to be at the Oscars one day. Maybe I should start taking my acting dreams more serious lol. Here is Academy Award Winning Actress Sandra Bullock's acceptance speech, happy watching!

Six's Company Too

With the Oscar nominations announced just yesterday, many people are fired up at the fact that there are 10 nominees for Best Picture. This shouldn't go without surprise giving the extraordinary talent in the mix. Movie vets such as Morgan Freeman, Sandra Bullock, Jeff Bridges, Woody Harrelson have been nominated for films such as Avatar and The Blind Side. And let's not forget to mention Carey Mulligan and the rookie of the year Gabourey Sidibe who's nominated for her role as "Precious" in Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire.

The stars gathered for Newsweek's 13th Oscar Roundtable, and I would have loved to be there, but since I couldn't be – here's a snippet for your entertainment. Happy Watching!
