The Little Things We Learn in Life

If you haven't met Tha Lady Blogga (Tamika Frye), then you must not be into the social media scene. She's an entertainment blogger, and has now ventured out to become the author of the three book series entitled, “The Little Things We Learn In Life”. Book one, “Matters of the Heart", takes the reader on a myriad of journeys through various relationships. Relationships that are affected by some of the same things that are dealt with in real life. Mistresses, occupations, Social Networking; but it also gives the other side: Love, Happiness, Togetherness.

The objective behind the book is to help the reader see beyond their own situation. Reading these stories gives insight, direction and knowledge beyond what might already be known. Aside from entertaining, the stories are gritty, real and some of the readers may closely relate. I personally cannot wait to purchase and read my copy to tell you all about it. You can expect books 2 & 3 “the Grind” and “the Fam” up next, but for now, spread the word that "Matters of the Heart" is currently available for purchase!  Make sure you support and order your copy today. Happy Reading!

Reinventing Reading

We've heard the cliches before..."Reading is fundamental", and "Knowledge is power."...but I don't think the world really understands how important reading is. I'll admit, I'm not the biggest fan of opening a book during my leisure time, but I do think that in order to grow, you have to introduce yourself to new things. To learning new words and reading new material are excellent ways of growing and expanding  your mind. For those who think that reading is for nerds, I think we should give a round of applause to Amazon and Barnes & Noble for the reinvention of reading; The Kindle and the Nook!

I would say that technology has hindered the generation we live in today from actually opening up a paperback book or reading a newspaper, but The Nook & Kindle make reading cool again.
With the way gadgets are being brought into the world today, it's only a matter of time before everyone has an electronic reading device and books become cool again. I love the way technology has worked it's way into something as simple as not having to lick your finger to turn a page.

What are your thoughts on reading ...the Nook/Kindle ...and the state of technology today?

Spread Love. Live life. Be Inspired.
