eyeRemember: Aaliyah

Nine years have passed and today marks the anniversary of the passing of one of music's talents, Aaliyah Dana Haughton. She brought a refreshing sound to R&B, and was loved by the fellow artists in the game. She's given us great music since she was just a teenager, and I'm sure you would agree by me saying that she left us too soon. But everything happens for a reason, and though we won't be able to see what she would have blossomed into, she left us with a great lasting impression. Stay in peace Aaliyah, you are missed.

eyeListen: "Unforgettable"

Another leaked track off of Drake's upcoming album, Thank Me Later, has been released. "Unforgettable" features Young Jeezy and the angelic sound of Aaliyah. Besides Drake rapping and singing on the hook, the track is very interesting. I love the chord modulation in the chorus and the way the song was put together collectively.
