Whoopi Defends Mel Gibson
Mel Gibson has made big news again for a racist rant against African Americans saying to his ex-girlfriend that "If you get raped by a pack of n****** it will be your fault." With that line he may have angered millions of people. SMH, it's so bad it's almost comical.

Then this week on The View Whoopi came out and said "I know Mel, and I know he's not a racist...He may be a bonehead. I can't sit and say that he's a racist, having spent time with him in my house with my kids." I must say this before I go any further, if this was a black man who had said such things about a white man or any other race, his career would be over. I do not believe this is the case for Mel Gibson." (Huffington Post)...WOW! Your thought?!

No Rose for Reggie
Allegedly Reggie Bush and Amber Rose have had sexual relations. Last night were the 2010 ESPN ESPYs and both were in attendance. Rumor has it that Reggie ordered security to keep Amber away from him. It's like that? (MediaTakeout)

Well, the paternity test is in and the result: DNA test has confirmed that Mathew Knowles is the father of Alexsandra Wright's brand new baby boy ... sources tell TMZ. That makes Beyoncé & Solange new big sisters to baby Nixon. ::sigh::

Earlier this month news of Kim Zolciak's lesbian relationship with DJ Tracy Young surfaced, although Zolciak claimed to still be involved with the mysterious married man "Big Poppa." However, the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" starlet has finally broken her silence in the new issue of "Life & Style" (on newsstands now) and 'fessed up to being in love with a lady. She says, "I don't want to define gay, bisexual or straight." Okay Kim!

Super Bowl XLIV + Commercials

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2010 SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS, THE NEW ORLEANS SAINTS!

For the first time in NFL history the New Orleans Saints have won their first Super Bowl. I'm sure that this is an amazing time for the Saints, but more so for the state of New Orleans. If you didn't get a chance to watch the game, you missed one of the biggest plays of the game; the Tracy Porter intersection on behalf of Manning. Happy watching!

effFriday: They Do it effFOR Love

Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush are reportedly back together after breaking up a few weeks ago because of work commitments. The Keeping Up with the Kardashian star recently attended a fashion a show in New Orleans and was picked up afterwards by Reggie, who is currently in The Big Easy preparing for the upcoming NFL season.

The couple then had dinner together later that night and it is claimed that they are taking their relationship day by day. Word is that Kim was forcing Reggie to settle down and marry her, but now (according to a "TRUSTED" source of mediatakeout.com) Kim says that she will "play her role". Hopefully the couple can get past whatever differences they were having and work it out. It's clear that they were in love...eyeWish them the best!

eyeYeyeYeye: Kim & Reggie Break Up

Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush appeared to have a fairytale relationship -- but in Hollywood, there often isn’t a happily ever after. Fans were shocked by the announcement on Monday that the two had amicably split, although according to a source close to the pair it wasn’t such a surprise.
“It’s been rocky for a little while now,” said our insider. They both have contracts on separate sides of the country and it was too much. They used to see each other every couple of weeks, but Kim’s brand is much bigger than it was last season.”

Breakups happen everyday and although Reg and Kim made a great couple (in the world's eyes), at some point or another, all good things come to an end. Who knows, maybe they'll get back together at some point, but this breakup may be good for them. From watching "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" I feel like Kim isn't ready to spare enough of her time to really be committed on the relationship. I understand that sacrifice goes both ways, but then again a football career can be gone at any given moment. It's important that sacrifices are made on both ends if you want the relationship to last.

Kim Kardashian Visits The Motherland

Kim Kardashia has arrived in Africa today to promote diamonds from Batswana to help stimulate diamond sales from the African nation to the US market. With rough sales down 68 percent in the first quarter of this year, De Beers in Botswana is hoping promotions with the reality show star and creative designer will stimulate diamond sales, according to a report from the Sunday Standard Reporter.

Kardashian will be part of a Diamond Forum scheduled to visit the Jwaneng diamond mine as part of the group’s tour of Batswana. Other members of the group include Batswana’s former president Festus Mogae and Central Bank governor Linah Mohohlo, the head of De Beers in Botswana, Sheila Khama, told the Sunday Standard on Friday. “We hope that her visit will add to the voice of the Diamond Fund,” Khama said.

Kim was accompanied by her NFL boyfriend Reggie Bush and her sister Khole Kardashian. Here are some of her posts via Twitter prior to her trip:
