Can We PLEASE Acknowledge How Fly Solange Is? As you all have probably noticed, I'm a fan of the funky, bold and fierce. Originality is my forte, and I admire anyone who isn't afraid to be different. So, with that being said I'd like to take the time out to acknowledge someone who exhibits all of the above qualities, one of my fashion inspirations Solange.

We all know Solange Knowles as being the younger sibling to the superstar Beyonce Knowles but, lately Solange has mostly been noted for her FASHION. She has been seen wearing everything from nostalgic "Poetic Justice" 90's braids to bold prints, bright lips and funky shades. And let's not forget her greatest accessory, confidence. Whether or not you agree with her fashion choices, I believe we can all agree that Ms. Knowles has made a statement!

Fashion For a Cause

The act of giving is always in season but, if you combine that with fashion then your winning! So, I've found some fun fashion items that are not only cute but are for a cause.

The first fashion for a cause item that I believe is a must have for any conscious fashionista is the Julez for Japan shirt. This simple replica of the Japan flag was made by singer and my personal style icon Solange Knowles 6 year old son Daniel Julez Smith. Not only is this just a great shirt to have but to know that it was made by a 6 year old just makes it that much better. The shirt profits will go to Peace Winds, a non-profit organization that is assisting Japan with the recent devastation.Shirts can be purchased at julezforjapan.bigcartel.com.

Another conscious clothing item that not only makes you look good, but feel good, are the classic shoes from TOMS. TOMS are not only known for their classic canvas style shoes, but also the giving spirit the company holds by donating a pair of shoes for every pair bought, to a child in need. I've never heard of such a deal, but it's true. For every pair of shoes that you purchase another pair will be given to a child in need. eyeWatch: "Why Don't You Love Me"

Despite her being on a "6 month break", Beyoncé or should I say "B.B. Homemaker" has decided to get back into character and hit us with a new video! "Why Don't You Love Me" is another single off of her 3x Platinum album (bonus track on iTunes edition) I Am...Sasha Fierce; written by Solange Knowles. The video has a vintage-60s inspired edge to it; one look that she's giving us is a pin-up/mechanic and then one with the short Chinese bangs that we all love (not so much lol). The video was directed by MELINA & Bee Z. Happy watching!

Well, the paternity test is in and the result: DNA test has confirmed that Mathew Knowles is the father of Alexsandra Wright's brand new baby boy ... sources tell TMZ. That makes Beyoncé & Solange new big sisters to baby Nixon. ::sigh::

Earlier this month news of Kim Zolciak's lesbian relationship with DJ Tracy Young surfaced, although Zolciak claimed to still be involved with the mysterious married man "Big Poppa." However, the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" starlet has finally broken her silence in the new issue of "Life & Style" (on newsstands now) and 'fessed up to being in love with a lady. She says, "I don't want to define gay, bisexual or straight." Okay Kim!

eyeLike: Beyoncé & Solange for Samantha Thavasa

Beyoncé & Solange promote Samantha Thavasa & Disney Collection at Tokyo Disney hotel yesterday (August 10th) in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan. I'm guessing that Bey didn't attend the 2009 Teen Choice Awards since she was in Japan. Although she wasn't in attendance, she won two awards: Choice R&B Artist & Choice Music R&B Track for "Single Ladies". Go Bey!

You can also see Solange's hair update. She added a little side part, it looks way better than the fresh cut she started out with. Solange's shoes are HOT! I'm loving the half bootie, half sandal...I need to know the designer NOW!

So it seems as though the latest trend in the celebrity world has become shaving some of your hair off, or all of it for that matter. Here's the latest victim to the clippers, Solange Knowles. She expressed via Twitter that she's going through the

"i wanna cut all myHair off & have a fade phase lol ."

Well we all know that Solange is a very opinionated and strong-willed individual, so I'm sure she doesn't or won't give a flying hoot about what anyone has to say about her new do!

Little Juelz, son of Solange Knowles, was out and about with his other two main ladies, Auntie Bey and Grandma Tina. Beyoncé, who was in LA for her I Am...Yours tour, was out Monday afternoon in Beverly Hills shopping.
He is just too cool for school! I wish I had his shirt ;)

Dear Diary...Signed Teyana

I guess Twitter is the new "My Diary" for some celebrities these day. I'm sure he wasn't the first, but Souljaboytellem had a meltdown via Twitter, and rapper/singer Teyana Taylor almost overheated my phone with her updates listed below. Someone had to have questioned her on her talent and exactly what it is that she does because she pretty much went on a rampage. Here's what she tweeted:
"Im sorry for keeping u guys waiting. But I just wanna let yall know I've been waiting to. Wen I read mean comments about me it hurts because people take they anger out on me talking about "what does she do she aint come out with nothing yet" well that's not my fault the music shit Aint easy it takes time...I hate rushing things, people don't know what I go thru. I try to put new music and new youtube videos up and pplStill ask what I do? What more do I have to prove its just no pleasing hating ass people But everythings gonna be ok cause shit is moving...its gonna be all good lets all just think positive! Its not my fault im tryn hard but aye Hahahaha don't worry cause if u see me everywhere now....it only gonna get even more crazy when I put out more music. Teyana wasn't the only one, last night Solange Knowles, set the record straight for her phonie fans and the Beyoncé hater with her tweets:

Don't try to love ME becuz u want 2 be the "anti Beyonce". I am the "all for" Beyonce.Now kiss both of our Knowles asses if u don't like it!
