Scott. Jeremy Scott.

Turn down the sophistication of Paris fashion, put the extraordinary creativity of NYC on blast, add texture, colors galore and a guy named

JEREMY SCOTT

and you have the wildest Adidas you've come to see in your entire life! Following on his previous work with the label, his collection is similarly exaggerated in silhouette, motifs (who else would literally put wings on your feet a la JS Wings?) but goes the extra mile and takes a plunge into the deep end of the color pool. Here's a taste of what you can expect in the Spring/Summer 2010 collaborative collection with Adidas, Originals by Originals.

As previously introduced, the multicolored JS Wings we previewed is an expected turn up for the upcoming collection, and the other kicks from the season follow in the crazy suit.

The new model, Metro Attitude Hi, returns in a striking yellow and silver weaved upper combo, complete with the dramatic oversize tongue; also, another note worthy pair in the line up is a chrome reflective silver low-top which resembles a cross between the iconic Creepers and golf shoes as the kicks feature a triple layered fringe on its upper with multiple tassels– though, the shoes speak for themselves and doesn’t take much attention to spot or note with its futuristic mad hatter appearance (eyeSite).

ToP THIS: How to Mend a Broken Heart

Call me crazy, but I'd rather break a bone, than to have my heart broken. That might be a little extreme, but my point is that mending a broken heart takes time, and is far from easy. In this TOP THiS, we'll explore some of the best ways to mend a broken heart.

1. DON'T LIVE IN THE PAST: What is done has been done. Whether the break-up was your fault or your partners', it has already happened, and can not be changed. Instead, use this as a lesson learned and prevent the same occurrences in your next relationship.

2. ALLOW YOURSELF TO GRIEVE: The end...A relationship is a loss and should be treated accordingly. It's alright to cry or feel sad and frustrated and it is normal if these feelings last for a few weeks or even months but...

3. NO PITY PARTIES!: Listening to sad songs, watching sad movies and eating tons of ice cream is not the way to go! Those things are just going to magnify the sadness you're already feeling. Think about it like this... your emotions are already fragile, so its your job to do everything in your power to strengthen them, not beat them up even more.

4. BE ENCOURAGED: Surround yourself with positivity! Be around positive people and engage in positive activities. Take care of your mind, body and soul. Steer clear from alcohol and drugs! They may make you feel better for the moment, but once you sober up, yourbroken heart is crying louder than ever. Also being under the influence is a huge welcome to stupid behavior. You wont drunk dial/text your ex if you're sober.

5. DON'T GET BORED: When you're bored, your mind wanders and has the opportunity to dwell. Soon you'll begin to feel sad about the situation, and since you're bored, you now have lots of time to entertain negative thoughts.

6. TESTIFY: Use your situation to help someone else. Don't use this as a time to become the victim and talk about how wrong you were treated. Talk about how you overcame obstacles and got your life back on track. Helping others without any expectation for a reward is rewarding in itself. Use the trials that were meant to break you down, as encouragement to help lift someone else up.

7. HAVE CONFIDENCE AND FAITH: Know that you will find someone else in due time that is a better fit for you. It is not the end of the world, there's going to be a brighter day! Also, have faith, God has your back, he knows the desires of your heart and if you put him 1st, you have no choice but to succeed in all aspects of your life (including your love life)

I know 7 is a strange number to stop at (lol) but those are my tips for mending a broken heart. If you have any more tips please feel free to share!

eyePOD: unTHINKABLE

Without a shadow of a doubt one of the best songs on Alicia Keys' latest album, The Element of Freedom is "Unthinkable" featuring Drake. The vocals are so soothing and the intrumental arrangement in the chorus is on point. This is definitely one of my favorite songs hence it being on our eyePod. So check it out, and while you're at it, check out Nixon Nyce's version of "Unthinkable" off of his upcoming mixtape Useless Love Songs due to drop on Valentine's Day.

What do you think of Nixon Nyce's version of "Unthinkable"? COMMENT!

What Are Your Thoughts On Double Standards?

ddoouubbllee standards
[[refers to any set of principles containing different provisions for one group of people than for another]]

Need an example? Here's one of the most common double standards (in gender): a man can has had from 5-10 sexual partners and is praised for it, while a woman who may have had 5-10 sexual partners is degraded and called "washed up", a hoe, slut, etc.

A double standard, thus, can be described as a sort of biased, morally unfair suspension (toward a certain group) of the principle that all are equal in their freedoms. The proverb "life is not fair" is often invoked in order to mollify concerns over double standards.

Is it right? No, but that's a double standard for ya! So eyeAsk: What are your thoughts on Double Standards? What are some double standards that you don't agree with? ALL RESPONSES ARE WELCOME!

eyeWatch: Onto the Next

2009 is out of the window and we're onto the next one! And so is Jay-Z and Swizz Beats with the video for the single "Onto the Next One". The video is hot, black and white, creative with great balls of fire (literally). I'm thinking that there may be a deeper message in the treatment of the video than what we are seeing. I'm not too sure if I agree with a couple of the images either; this being one of them: [click to enlarge]. If you haven't seen it, you can do so right now! Happy watching.
