With the official launch of my his website BackPackNY.com, we wanted to share with you a new upcoming producer, Brian Alexander. Brian is the founder and producer of BackPackProductionz doing business as BackPackNY. One thing that he's passionate about is creating music, giving us his project #WhatYouThink?.

The tape entitled #WhatYouThink? is an Instrumental Tape that will be an excerpt of what's ahead for BackPackNY as a producer his independent record label BackPackProductionz. The tape has eight instrumentals, is eight minutes long and was released on the eighth of March. eyePod: Downloads from Ayindigo & Nov

Is your eyePod lacking some up-to-date music in the Hip-Hop category? That's what we're here for. Today we have two tracks from some great unsigned talent.

The stars have arrived! And boy do they sound good! Ayindé + Indigo = Ayindigo have released their second single off of the Ayindigo project (release date TBA); "The Stars Arrived" featuring Fendi. If you know these artists, you know that their lyrical capability alone is crazy. So add a dope track for them to go off on and it's a done deal. The track is smooth and has an ill vibe to it.

Nov, who is new to our audience a rapper from Buffalo NY. Nov started his own label, Majeestyle Entertainment in 2005, and released his first project, The War in Music last year. Mixtape Madness: Nixon Nyce, Eric Sosa,OXYMORRONS

Yes, we've been M.I.A., but that hasn't stopped some of the finest unsigned artists from putting out new work. We have three mixtapes for you to add to your eyePods.

First up, Nixon Nyce brought in the new year by giving us his Sooner Than Later project. The tape is hosted by Akon's DJ Benny-D, and with over 18 tracks, you'll definitely find something that interests you. On January 25th, some of our eyes were in the building at Greenhouse NYC to witness the celebration of Eric Sosa's mixtape release; Rhyme & Noodles: No Artificial Flavoring Vol. 2. eyePod: "Whip My Hair"

There's no doubt about it, talent lives in the Smith family. But just in case you doubted it, 9-year-old Willow Smith is whipping her hair! Willow's sassy and unique style rubs off on her single "Whip My Hair", and if I didn't know it was her, I would swear that it was a mature up and coming artists coming through my speakers. The song is catchy, cute and age appropriate; not that I would expect anything less. I'm anxious to know what Willow's next steps are. She's done the acting gigs, and now the music. But the Smiths are no strangers to the best of both worlds. I'm sure her parent's business aesthetic will be passed onto her. If you have yet to hear it, here you have it; Happy listening!

eyePod: "Electric Relaxation" Style-For-Free

Ayindé is back at it. This time around he's brought his whit, charm, and lyrical greatness to his "Electric Relaxation (Style-For-Free)". The original track is a classic, and for him to take it on says a lot. But needless to say, he caught my attention from the first bar - "Hey! I got it hakuna matata.
