For this edition of eyePoll, DANiE thought we should take a chance and see how you all felt when it came to dating and religion. From the time we first start dating, religion may or may not be a factor, but as you come to terms with a more serious relationship, it can be something that will make or break a relationship - or determine who you are willing to have relations with. So, we asked:
Would you date someone who had different religious beliefs than you? And here were the results:
How did you vote? Why did you vote the way you did? I'll leave my reason in a comment, as should you ;)

I'd date her cuz I was interested in her. I could teach her why I believe in God & she could teach me why she doesn't. As long as I stay on my path & get a chance to maybe open her heart...I've done my job
ReplyDeleteI chose Yes because I think that God does put us in peoples lives to introduce them to Him. I'm not going to convert my religion b/c of some1 else, but I think as a Christian you should be open to dating someone and sharing your beliefs with them. Its up to them to accept it. Dating - yes. Marriage - a whole different can of worms.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you think DANiE?
Dating can lead to something more serious and I would hate to be in a situation where I love this guy but he doesnt love my Lord...
ReplyDeleteCausal dating, with no intent of a relationship is fine... and I can definitely be friends with ppl that have different beliefs, but I wont get serious with someone with a different religious belief.
